I have a 36 inch dynasty range/oven. When cold the oven door closes fine but when the oven heats up, the door pops open a bit and doesn't close all the way. I can't seem to tell what happens but it seems that something gets out of shape and pushes the door open. What do I do?

i just had this problem with a jenn air range i was repairing, installed new hinges door closed fine, heated oven hit 200 degrees and light came on (door opened slightly) as per techline I shimmed the hinge reciever to make a bit tighter. sure enough!!! been 3 weeks she hasnt called back yet (and trust me if it didnt work she would!.. call the tech back and have him call the tech line while in home
Most cases yes. It is very simple, close the air shutter to 90% close, you will see yellow flame, now open the air shutter until the yellow flame disappear, then open the air shutter a little bit more now you are done. Have fun.
Place a hammer handle between the hinge and the door frame. Exert moderate pressure to close the door. It should spring back to normal position. Do both sides.
the air adjustment is open just a little to much the flame will have a hard time to go to the other side, try closing the vent to the burner just a Little bit and try the oven, another problem that i see is that the ignitor is getting to weak to ignite the flame on time.
30 inch oven has only one oven tube, 36 inch oven has 2 burners in it, most comment is the oven ignitor is out. If you have 2 burners, I'll change both oven ignitor at the same time, because they worked together. also check the oven tube, if it is corroded at the ignitor area, change the burners. Have fun.
