Question about SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player

1 Answer

My Computer Isn't Recognizing My Player!

When I first got it I had to download Windows Media Player 10 and that has been taking care of. I had the music ripped and set to put onto my mp3 (4GB), but the player is saying that no device is hooked up.

I have checked and rechecked the cords and hook ups and nothing appears to be wrong.

We are also compatible to the requirements.

I have downloaded a book and now my e-270 when I want to listen to my book flashes " Synchronize to continue your music subscription."

grrr...me too. A balloon keeps popping up that says that "USB Device is not Recognized" and that the device 'malfunctioned'. I left it on the cord all day.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

I dont know how to put music on it

To put music on yourMP3 Player you will do this:
Download Windows Media Player 9 or 10 to your computer.
I would use Media Player 10 as it is the newer player.
After you download Media Player 9 or 10 open it up on your computer, and then hook up your mp3 player, it should be recognized by Media Player and then you can transfer the songs to it.
You need to put the music cd in your computer cd player and download the songs to Media Player using Windows Media Player 9 or 10.
Good Luck, I hope this helps.
