my DVD player cant recognize DVD rom, it cant read, no error messages apper, if i double clik the dvd icon its opening but zero contents. my player: HL-DT-ST-DVD RAM GSA H60L

Try first to clean the drive using a lens cleaner , because sometimes this is a problem with the lens that you have that is not clean ........
