After changing my daughter's ds back to english, why is the game still being played in spanish?

Some DS games are only in one language, may it be French, Spanish or English. It's not all games, unfortunately, that have the ability to be multilingual.
In your case, it's a Spanish game which hasn't been translated to English. Therefore, changing the DS's language will have no effect on the game: it'll still be in Spanish whatever you do.
The only way to have the game in English is to have an English version of the game.

Boot the DS up and touch the screen when it says to continue. Touch the button at the bottom of the screen that looks like a ds. Touch the pink backgrounded wrench and touch the globe. Voila!!! Tap english and you are done!!

Ds is now in Japanese!!

On the main menu of the DS go to the settings (the button looks like a little DS), now tap the wrench icon, and then tap the globe icon. Tap the language you want and then hit the bottom-right button, this is confirm.
Problem solved! :)

How do you change the language to english?

Don't put the game in and turn on the DS, touch the little DS icon at the very bottom of the bottom screen then go to the wrench icon then to the globe icon and the language settings are in there, english is the top left one. hope this helps!!

My daughter has the ds game high school musical but cant play it. either the disc we bought is in german or when she has loaded it she has pressed german instead of english. how can we fix this so it can...

This is a common problem. Remember that you can only change the language of the DS and not the actual game. Go to the small pic of the ds on the main menu and then the tool. Click the globe and then the language of your choice.

It is really very simple and it will stay that way until it is changed again.

I hope I was able to fixya problem and Happy Gaming to you and your daughter.

If it altered the selected language in the game too, there should be a option in the game where you should be able to change the language. In most games at start up there is usually a menu screen where you can select:" new game, options, continue,(it sometimes might vary)" Language settings (if any at all) are usually found in "game options."

Exactly what game is this problem on? I'm assuming that since your daughter changed the language, that she knows how to go back to the DS configuration settings to select the language. If that is the area of information that you did need though, You can post another comment here asking that.

If what I've posted isn't helpful, a recommended place for DS and game support is found here:

High School Musical game - language

I got this from the web-site. It works.
1. Put in game and turn on.
2. At Menu tap the bottom listing (Op...)
3. Tap the top listing until English appears. It goes through a bunch of languages.
4. Then hit the arrow on lower left of screen and you are all set.
