Question about Cobra 25 LTD 40-Channels Base CB Radio
Just bought the above cb and installed in my truck. A little concerned--can't seem to get a squlech noise. any advice.?
Make sure your mic connector, coax on radio and antenna, and your antenna are all tight. If any have loose connection, it can stop your receive audio.
Make sure your CB/PA Switch is in CB
Turn your squelch all the way counter clockwise and rf gain clockwise, then check again. If still no audio, plug in an external speaker.
If still no audio, I would check your coax and make sure it doesn't have a broken center conductor.
