Hi,
Are you getting a lot of black smoke?
If so your egr is more than likely goosed.
Easy fix in a 300.
Mine suffered from this a few years ago and I blanked off the egr. You can make a blank yourself or buy one with instructions for a few quid of eBay.
Well worth it and you will certainly notice the difference.
hope this helps.
Iain

2007 diesel. What is causing turbocharger underboost?

Most of the fault codes you have listed refer to some sort of issue with the exhaust system ie: EGR valve operation p0489, exhaust pressure sensor p0473, diesel particulate filter p2002 operation, p2099 fuel trim to rich. 1 fault code refers p0215 refers to the manifold runner sensor on the inlet system.

By the sounds of it with so many related fault codes to the exhaust system im thinking you have a blockage somewhere, i would suggest a couple of things to you.

1. Your diesel particulate filter is clogged up, you can try introduce a forced regeneration with a suitable scan tool. There is plenty of info on Google on how to try and introduce a burn yourself without a scanner. However you'll struggle without getting the thing to rev. You will have to remove the filter and physically check for blockage and replace it as required.

2. Where your EGR valve bolts to the manifold is blocked. Remove the valve itself and inlet manifold, clean it out or replace it as required

3. Your turbo charger itself has failed and requires replacement, hyundai have known issues with them.

4. You have a boost leak, check all induction hoses and intercooler for damage and leakage.

5. Your inlet manifold (which houses your EGR) is gumed up with rubbish and requires cleaning

6. All these faults maybe a direct result with the diesel fuel injectors not sealing. They should be checked and you should research hyundai's common issue with them, even if the issue you have posted above is rectified without taking a look at them.

Try and remove the inlet hose to the turbo and check for free play in the turbine. If that's ok remove the exhaust connection from the turbo and see if it will rev. You will be able to check if it has a blockage in the exhaust system from there.

Hope it helps good luck

2000 pontiac grand am 3.4 motor auto trans 4 door.Car starts and drives okay motor seems to stumble slightly between 3000-4000 rpms. with car stopped in park try to rev motor will only go between 3200-4000...

Hi Tom your vehicle is equipped with a Rev limiter it will not allow you to rev the engine above 4000 with the trans in park; as for the first problem you may have one of two things, one of the spark plugs or spark plug wires is bad or you have a flat spot on the throttle positioning sensor in which case have be replaced. Good luck?

Runs rough under load ,stalls and won,t free rev over 4000 rpm. Acts like rev limiter kicks on.

Hi

one of 3 faults

1 MAF sensor also Known as air mass sensor
2 EGR valve, this is most common with the 4000 rev limit and a top speed of say 50 mph
3 air leaks or tears in air pipes or poor seals.

I would be tempted to clean both the EGR and MAF sensor before spending any money though, these parts ofetn work much lonegr when clean

My volvo 940 1993 keeps flashing the emission light when I restart warm car after a short trip - slow to start, need to give it some gas & rev

Sounds like you need an O2 sensor. You need to have it scanned, places like AutoZone will do this free of charge.
