It's most likely your hard drive. You can do it yourself and get the software and hard drive or buy a pre-configured kit.

It could be the power supply/motherboard.

It's extremely hard to say without seeing the unit in person. A great place to send it is CCS in Indiana. They'll test it and replace/upgrade the drive (if you choose that option).

If it's the same series (series2) then yes. You can't swap out the motherboard as the service ID is tied to that. But, you can swap out the powersupply and/or hard drive (you'll have to do a clear and delete everything). Please note, if you have a TCD240 you can't use a TCD540 hard drive, as they use different software.

Please be careful w/ the power supply, it can zap you. Take out the torx screws first then use a small pair of pliers and release the plastic clips. It's okay to lift it up by the power connector that goes to the hard drive.

Also, you can try and use the different hard drive w/ software on it to determine if the unit still works.

If you have the same type of unit, say two 240s, then you can do a clear and delete everything on the drive and it will re-marry to the new unit, but if you have a 240 and 540, then you need to get the correct software for the unit.

Please note, a TCD140 and 240 use the same software, same w/ 130 and 230. You'll still have to do a clear and delete everything, BUT the software will work on the unit.

My stove went to "sab" mode after power outage. Technician came over and review manual and couldn't fix it!

You need to refer to the manual of the model that has Sabbath mode and apply that to yours even though it doesn't have it. you are setting the controller not the wires that make Sabbath mode operate.

How do I fix my panasonic vierra that won't come on after a power outage?

Pull the plug and with the power disconnected hold the power button on for 60 seconds. After at least the 60 seconds plug the tv in and try to start it. If it works great if not , hold the power button in the on position for a count of 20 with the tv plugged in . If theres still no Joy try power with one of your volume buttons at the same time . One of these should provide a hard reset for the tv.

You may have to open it to see if the line fuse that the power cord goes to is good or bad.

Power in house went out. T.V. wont turn on.

Did you have a surge protector on the TV? Have you tried unplugging it for 5 minutes, if not try that. If it still won't work contact your local electrical power provider and start a claim for damages from the power outage.

ILO 2706 TV WONT TURN ON

This TV might have been affected by the power outage even if it was not ON at that moment. There is a standby voltage still present even when OFF and connected to the AC line.
There might be different failures on this TV:
1. The power supply might be defective after the power outage.
2. The main board could also be defective since the power supplies for today's TVs are not well regulated and once the voltage getting to the power supply increases, the standby voltage voltage will also increase damaging voltage sensitive components like the microprocessor or memory circuitry.

Let me know if you require further assistance.
