series of 3 blinking lights. manual says lamp door isnt fastened properly. it is. i tried unplugging tv, have opened and closed lamp door 3xl. still blinking.

- Thanks for the help guys. I did a lot of reading online and realized I bought a lemon. Sony will not be seeing any more money from me.Solution #1

After I unplug and then plug tv to reset I get a solid standby light,then when I push the power button I get a green light that blinks 6 times then it blinks red 6 times and then red 6 times continuosly with a slight delay between the 6 blinks of red.
