Washing machine filled with water and then stopped mid-cycle. This happened before and the repairman said it is a door switch. He removed the lid and in 5 mins moved something at the back of the machine. Where is this switch located?
the lid switch for you model is located inside the cabinet of your washer. you should be able to access it by removing the front panel. by inserting a putty knife or similar tool on the left and right side along the seam of the cabinet. you should be able to feel two small clips that hold it in place. lift up SLIGHTLY on these clips and remove one side at a time. once you have done this you may need to release the top as well, held in by two 3/8 hex screws. the lid switch is on the right. and is held in by two phillips screws and a wiring connection as well remove the two screws and the connection and replace it with a 3355458 lid switch. hope this was a help to you
Thanks
