Right speaker on Sennheiser headphones not working
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 515 headphones and the right speaker is dead. The speaker had come out somehow and was rattling around inside the headphones, wires still attached though. I took them apart and snapped the speaker back into the holder but I don't know what to do to get the sound back. There are two little wires soldered to the speaker, a copper one and a silver one I think. Could one have come loose maybe? Please tell me how to fix these as I do not want to replace them.

I don't believe it to be a cable or plug problem, so it sounds like it's a speaker problem. I look up the review of these and it could have some kind of circuit built into each side. If it does it could be that. As they are not cheap headphones by the look of it, perhaps worth repairing. But if the speaker has gone, it might be as much as a new pair.
have a friend come over with their phones and plug in. if the same problem persists its the amp and it blew that channel. no problems then get new phones save old ones for parts.
Hi, after checking the wire and no damaged,it means that the speaker itself is damaged. You can replace it if can get a spare around repair stores around you.
If it is plastic the only way I have found that will hold it together is to melt them together with a soldering Iron. I have tried glues, but they won't take the stress.
If you do try to melt them, use a face mask, safety glasses and do it in a well ventillated room. The smoke tends to go right in your face, it will make your eyes sore. So becarefull!
A much safer way is to find a cheap pair of headphones that will take the size of the speakers from yours, then fit them in. They might not look right, but they will sound the same!
That's what I did with mine!
