Question about GE 30 in. JGP336 Gas Cooktop
2 out of 4 units are not working. The sparks are not igniting and they are not making any clicking sounds. Other 2 units are working. I have to turn on the other working unit to help light the other two units on. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this?
IF YOU PUSH DOWN AND HOLD DOWN WHILE TURNING THE IGNITERS SHOULD WORK.........AT LEAST ON MINE

Are the other 2 burners lighting with the spark? If so the other 2 are either shorting before the burners or the sparkers are faulty.
To service, the cooktop needs to be completely removed from the bench and disconnected from the gas as the access is from the bottom.
I could step you through it while watching, but to do it this way is not a good idea. It's probably worth ringing a serviceman.
