internet was working before, now i get a dns error when using router, when i plug ethernet directly into the computer it works. Tried to hook up a second PS3 in home not sure it that was the culprit.
Sounds like the router's DNS settings got clobbered. I've heard of this happening before when UPNP is enabled.
There should be a reset switch (usually concealed iside a hole) on the back or bottom. That'll get you back to factory settings. Reconfigure as needed and I suggest you switch UPNP OFF, there is never any real need for it.

Its blocking my laptop from my network. i need my laptop to be able to see the network now, I cant set up my slingbox otherwise. Awhile ago i set the router to be used as an access point, i believe it was on the router its self, and i cant figure out where to set it to allow me back on the network. The main computer on the network is running windows xp, and it may also be a setting there.
