Windows live messenger crash

do you have an cyberlink web camera installed on your machine if yes just uninstall it and see would it be solve the problem if not then just go to control pannel open add/remove programs click add/remove windows components scroll down for windows messenger uncheck it and uninstall it and do the same thing for installing it again just check it again and install
