    hi

thanks for trying to help me out, yeah its an altera, sorry about that.we have a pioneer stereo(new cd player)we are attempting to hook up but we dont know what colour wires go where inthe stereo.they are all hooked to a white plastic thing(sorry not sure of the terminology)all we know is 2 outer wires have power, the rest is simply guessing.we dont know much as you can tell but really dont want to pay to get it hooked up if its resonablly simple.

Do I need to get a new head unit to put an amp and subwoofer in my mitsubishi verada?

Amps have a high and low input. You can run some speaker wire from your rear speakers to the high input on your amp. It comes with a small white plug with four wires. Use the green for one side, and the grey for the other! So no, you do not!

Just bought a 1997 Mitsubishi Verada. The stereo requires a security code. How can i retreive the code

Unfortunately MITSUBISHI codes are only available from your Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service.

You will have to quote the radio Serial Number (found on the casing) and if you go to the dealer you may need the car`s VIN number as well

I need the factory preset code for the stereo in my magna verada 2004, if anyone can help. thanks. the battery was changed in the car, and now the radio wont work without the factory code. We dont have...

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code.

You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorised dealership.
Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car..
