- Some remote control have reset button, you can find it at the front or back at the compartment of the battery push the rst button with pin or ballpen to reset it and try.
- Some remote control have selector switch in both remote control and at the board inside the unit. Try to transfer the switch button from A to B and also at the board inside the unit and reset the remote control and try.Or need to reconfigure the remote control to select the frequency.
- Try your remote control to other unit with same brand as yours to confirm if your remote control is really need a replacement. If it works then your receiver board in the unit is need a replacement. Or if wont work then you have to buy a new remote control. But if you have no budget then try to switch on the unit using emergency button to operate the unit.

How do I program a universal remote to my haier air condioner I lost my original remote

Most universal remotes won't have a code for an air conditioner. You'll need one that is made to work with A/C systems. See: or for remotes that will work with the HWR10XC6 and some other Haier air conditioners.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model and manufacturer of the universal remote you have. I'll try to confirm the available codes and how to program the unit.

I need a new remote control for a centrex air con machine model number CTAR35GW just wondering which one will work for this. I have lost the original!!!!!

The above link indicates is a remote appropriate for the air conditioner.

An alternative universal remote which might work is found at the following site:

Another universal remote for air conditioners is found at The Good Guys in Australia.

Whether or not any of these work with your unit is not something I can say with certainty. The first on the list does list your brand of air conditioner and is the least expensive of the lot. The last on the list is from a well know distributor. And the middle one offers a web video about programming the universal remote.

These universal remote search for codes much as universal remotes for TVs do.

Mr slim remote not working?

If you put you phone on to camera mode. Hold the remote with the top facing the camera into the phone. Press on and off button on remote. If your remote is working. You should see a light come on through your mobile phone screen. If it is not. A new remote is required. I use a universal remote.

Air conditioner was working great suddenly STOPPED working...cant turn it back on.

Is there a reset button located near the plug? If so reset it.

Check your circut breaker for the outlet its plugged into also.

If your using a remote to start this unit check that the battery is good in the remote,it may only work with a remote.

Hi, the air conditioner is working fine however I can't operate unit with remote. The remote switches on but there is no signal. Please help

Make sure the batteries are good. DO NOT trust the batteries that came with the remote, they are often old. Be sure if there is a switch on the A/C that needs to be on for the remote to work.
Some LG's have modes they can be set in that do not allow the remote to work.
Make sure that you can point the remote directly at the A/C as they are notorius for not working well from a distance, or when not pointed at with the remote!
