Question about Emerson MW8107WA Microwave Oven
I have a emerson microwave Model # mw8107wa serial #01100452md,I am looking to see how many amps it uses,my name is bob and my email addressis email@example.com
please send me answer you my email address.
As we calculate it:
P=V*I, where P: Power (Watts); V: Source tension (V); I: Current (Amps).
If the oven is a 1000W and the source 115Vac, the demanded current is:
I=8.7Amps plus the security factor.

That should be stated on the model number tag.
If not, a typical 1000W microwave will draw 13-15 amps from a 110/120V line.
Model MW8104SS draws right at 13 amps, according to the owner's manual.
While that model is not available, you can download similar models' manuals here: http://www.emersonradio.com/owners/MWO%20manual/
