My saeco royal professional has no power, no lights. What's up?

Hi
First I would check the switch on the bottom left side of the machine and make sure that it has not been turned off.
If it is on you may have a fuse out on the board. It is a very special fuse. It is a 35Ma timed lag fuse When we change them we put in a 50Ma Timed lag fuse with no problems, because the 35MaT is hard to find.

I have a Saeco Espresso machine that has recently stopped working. The machine is probably 2 years max old. Type SUP016RE, Model: Royal Prof. Has power going to it, however nothing further? Look forward to...

If you open the top cover,1,check the switch on the side is working, 2,check the fuses behind the circuit board is ok,3,under the water boiler there are thermoswitches ...if they are re-settable, push the pins in,and 4,more seriously the circuit board failure which you have to take it to the service center. Hope it helps.

Looking for instructions on cleaning and servicing the Saeco Royal

Hi,

When you clean the brewing unit wash it with hot water, do not
use any solvent.

Make sure there are no coffee residues on the two steel filters: the upper filter can be removed by unloosening and turning the plastic pin anticlockwise using the tool supplied.
Dry thoroughly each central unit component, fit the filter again and tighten it properly with the screw .

To do a descaling:
Saeco descaler is recommended; however, you can use any non-toxic and/or non-harmful descaling product for coffee machines, commonly available in retail stores. The used solution is to be disposed of according to the manufacturer’s
instructions and/or regulations in force in the country of use.

Never use vinegar!

Best regards
/Mirran

Saeco royal coffe machine

Clean the central unit whenever the coffee bean container is filled, or at least once a week. If the water hose seems dirty it is probably due to hard water and needs to be descaled.
Descaling is done with a special citric acid you can buy in any grocery store or dealer of such machines. follow the directions and run clean water through afterwards.

To clean the filter:
Switch off the machine and open service door
.
Remove grounds coffee container .
Remove central unit, by holding the handle and shortly pressing the PRESS key. Wash the central unit with hot water; do not use any solvent.
Make sure there are no coffee residues on the two steel filters: the upper filter can be removed by unloosening and turning the plastic pin anticlockwise using the tool supplied with your device. Dry thoroughly each central unit component, fit the filter again and tighten it properly with the screw .
Remove coffee rest drawer and clean it, using a non-abrasive solvent. Clean the service area thoroughly and fit the coffee rest drawer again. By holding the central unit by its handle, slide it back into its original position, making sure it is correctly engaged. Then close the door. Fit the coffee grounds container again.

good luck, stephen

Ventilate!

Can you get water out of the machine by pushing the hot water button?

This is how you would remove the ventilate message in the first place, but if no water comes out then the machines electro-valve is not opening and you will not be able to remove the ventilate message. You will have to get the machine serviced.

I would also give descaling the machine a try before servicing the machine.

No power -- where is fuse?

Fuse is inside the machine. Looks like a black wire thats fat in the middle.

Its either that or the main board blew. I pray it is the fuse because saeco doesn't sell the royal boards anymore from what i understand.

No power to unit

Hi,

If you had a leaking on this type of machine the water will go down to the power switch.

You can take of the top and check the fuse on the printed circuit card, in worst case you have to replace the printed circuit card.
