Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I loaded songs to an sd cad - my computer will play them from the sd card - but when i put the sd card into my nintendo dsi xl,press the sd icon on ds - the screen says "cannot find any music...

hello, Computers can play any audio formats (ex:- MP3) if you have right codecs installed, but the Nintendo is made to play music in AAC audio format only.
so you need find a program to convert your music.for example the music files are in MP3 format you will need to find a program that converts MP3 to AAC format.

Replaced SD card now Shaker won't play

Hi Cathi!

Few things you need to know about Sansa Shaker and the SD card:
  1. The Sansa Shaker DOES NOT support SDHC memory cards. Only regular SD cards are supported.
  2. Maximum capacity for supported SD cards - 2GB!
  3. Any SD card which doesn't meet the requirement above might cause the problem you encounter. REPLACE the card with a supported one - SD card with up to 2GB in capacity.
  4. No software/data is stored or needed to be on the memory card - apart from your music files.
  5. MP3 file type is fully supported by Sansa Shaker.
Regards,
Pelu.

How do I use the mico sd card on this player?

I would recommend here:

http://www.newegg.com/product/ProductList.aspx?N=2070070068+1053118914&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68&Tpk=micro%20sd

It honestly doesn't matter what brand of micro SD you stick in your MP3 player, so I wouldn't worry too much. Micro SD's are much smaller, so no, you can't use a normal SD in a Micro slot. Most however do have an SD "shell" that you can stick your Micro into, and use just like a normal SD card. Also I know that MOST mp3 players allow you to add pictures, videos, etc, and having a Micro SD inside should allow you to add things directly onto it, so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to access the contents of the Micro from your MP3.

Hope this helps! :)

Pictures on lg shine won't show on computer.

I think the problem might be that your phone is set to save pics you take with shine to phone instead of card. Try opening your camera, click "options", click "primary storage", then select "memory card". Take a test pic, pop the card in computer and see if it shows up. You should see a new folder choice -- "graphics". Hope that works for you!

More memory?

I haven't tried this, but I see no reason it why it shouldn't work. I have used an 2gb expansion card in my Sansa and it works just fine. The only problem is it will only play music off of an SD card, no video. I guess this is only to much memory if you don't need it. Rough guess is that a 4gb will hold roughly 1000 songs. I would only go for the smaller sd card if there was a substantial price difference and you won't be needing the extra space.

SD card

I have the same camera, save the colour (black). As soon as I read your post, an alarm went off. I decided to re-check my User Guide (PDF Eng version, page16), for the Lumix DMC-FZ30:
•On this unit, you can use SD Memory Cards of the following capacity (from 8 MB to 2 GB). Please confirm the latest information on the following website:
http://panasonic.co.jp/pavc/global/cs
(This Site is English only.) • This unit supports SD Memory Cards formatted in FAT12 system and FAT16 system based on SD Memory Card Specifications. • This unit does not support MultiMediaCard for recording motion pictures. • The reading/writing speed of a MultiMediaCard is slower than an SD Memory Card. When a MultiMediaCard is used, the performance of certain features may be slightly slower than advertised. • After recording motion pictures using the MultiMediaCard, the card access indication may appear for a while, but this is not a malfunction. • Keep the Memory Card out of reach of children to prevent swallowing.
8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB (Maximum)

To download

The manual is helpful isn't it?

Your music and pictures need to be installed onto a SD memory card. Take an empty card and copy the MP3 or pictures onto the card. Install the card into the GPS. Use the correct player (for pics or MP3) and see if it detects the music on the memory card.

It seems like it works the same way if you were to put music or photos onto a Palm. It may need a special folder on the card to read the photos or MP3s. I would put it into the GPS first, let the GPS format it, and see if it creates folders for them.
