When I put it on the computer it will play the songs but not off and with sonicstage it will add more songs to whatever memory is left but will not erase or reformat existing music on it that is not playable.

I have the same problem.

you need to reformatt because you must start fresh as you must always use sonicstage to add/remove music. It's the one downfall of this MP3 player. the good news is you can download it for free if you no longer have the program. I kept getting a no data error and it would fill extra space...same prob. I reformatted under one of those buttons on the player and voila my problem was solved. You cannot use media player to load songs. Although I heard there is a patch but I would stick to sonicstage

me too,has no data error although it contains mp3s.what can it be ,i even updated the firmware...to V>2.01

hey guyz....
ill tel u da exact problem......
it doesnt play mp3 .......
u kno it even dont format dis type ,,,,,,
if u wana play songs on ur nweoo3f so u have to download a software that is sonic stage......
after dat u have to import songs on sonic stage....
den u have to transfer it to ur player by clickin d transfer button and see now ur player have all da songs which you wanted...
