Honestly you would have to dis assemble the unit and go to the black box called the mechanism. Then open thy ad try to reset the trays and the black pole to its proper position. I wish teac would sell the black box as a unit but when i needed one they did not have it. I was able to unbind my box by dis assembling it. If you have one of these units never turn it on its side with cd in it this will lead to binding of the mechanism that controls the draws.

Door won't close

Your not clear what is going on but my door would not close because the sensor near the bottom of the door as not lined up with the other side. they both have to be in line with each other and also if there is dirt even a leaf over the sensor on either side it won't work either. Is your sensor wire on the over head box out in the open where it should be? If its not opener problem I don't know as you are not clear.

2004 ford f 150 5.4 3V pulled intake fixed vac hose came off replaced imrc & still show intake runner control closed bank 1 Still has no power when I get in it to pass something any ideas?

Is your check engine light on ? Any codes ?

There are three basic types of intake air sub-systems:

  • Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) electric actuated system

  • Intake Manifold Swirl Control (IMSC) vacuum actuated system

  • Intake Manifold Tuning Valve (IMTV)

These subsystems are used to provide increased intake airflow to improve torque, emissions and performance. The overall quantity of air metered to the engine is controlled by the throttle body.

Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Electric Actuated System
The Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Electric Actuated system (Figure 107) consists of a remote mounted motorized actuator with an attaching cable for each housing on each bank. Some applications will use one cable for both banks. The cable or linkage attaches to the housing butterfly plate levers. The 2.0L (2V) Focus IMRC uses a motorized actuator mounted directly to a single housing without the use of a cable. Each IMRC housing is an aluminum casting with two intake air passages for each cylinder. One passage is always open and the other is opened and closed with a butterfly valve plate. The housing uses a return spring to hold the butterfly valve plates closed. The motorized actuator houses an internal switch or switches, depending on the application, to provide feedback to the PCM indicating cable and butterfly valve plate position.

Below approximately 3000 rpm, the motorized actuator will not be energized. This will allow the cable to fully extend and the butterfly valve plates to remain closed. Above approximately 3000 rpm, the motorized actuator will be energized. The attaching cable will pull the butterfly valve plates into the open position. Some vehicles will activate the IMRC near 1500 rpm.

  1. The PCM uses the TP sensor and CKP signals to determine activation of the IMRC system. There must be a positive change in voltage from the TP sensor along with the increase in rpm to open the valve plates.

  1. The PCM uses the information from the input signals to control the IMRC motorized actuator based upon rpm and changes in throttle position.

  1. The PCM energizes the actuator to pull the butterfly plates open with the cable(s) or linkage.

  1. The IMRC housing contains butterfly plates to allow increased air flow.

Ice maker is not working. dispenses ice then it refills water into tray and the water keeps running into the freezer and all over the floor.

The fill solenoid is being opened but does not close properly- the solenoid could be getting stuck in the open position. If you also have water in the door try reversing the solenoids to see if the condition follows the move - if so the solenoid is definitely bogus.

Or there could be something wrong with the motorized cam responsible for turning the solenoid on and off. If that is the case the cam motor assembly has to be replaced.

Locked door flashes and oven will not start

Per GE Service bulletin # RA 03-01:

Serial Numbers affected: TZ, VZ, ZZ, AA, DA

Door will not open after self clean cycle due to motorized latch motor stuck in closed position or grinding noise during motorized lock operation.
Both issues are caused by interference of the inner vent trim slot with the latch arm as it travels to the closed position.

Replace both the lock motor (WB14T10008) and inner vent trim (WB07T10179).
Failure to replace the inner vent trim will not correct the problem long term, and subsequent lock motor failures will occur.

Our French Door model after almost 2 yrs pops open the one door after closing the other, and it doesn't set off the door alarm because it doesn't pop it open far enough to trigger the alarm. This causes...

We solved this problem by replacing the plastic parts on the top & bottom of the door that 'latch' the door closed.

On the top of each door is a white plastic 'cam' that latches into a receiver at the center point of the refrigerator chamber. One of mine was broken.
Additionally, on the bottom edge of each door is a white plastic hook-shaped 'stopper' that provides spring tension. I replaced both of those and now all is happy.

I am having trouble with my xbox 360 its saying open tray after i put a game in my xbox

Well there may be a temporary way you can still play your games, although you may not want to try this approach... Right after you close the disc tray fully with the game in it, you can lightly tap on the xbox 360 itself right behind where the disc would be spinning, as if knocking on a door lightly. be sure not to tap on it to hard though as that may damage your games. You may need to try this quite a few times to get it right, so if it does'nt work after a while of trying it, it may be either the laser that needs to be cleaned or replaced, or the motorized parts wearing out in the dvd drive itself. I'm not sure if this will work for you, but I figured out it does for most people that have this problem. Also heres a youtube link of a video showing exactly how to do this.

Top paper drawer will not open or raise paper into place

What kind of copier and model? Some copiers have a button to push or they may have a motorized tray or it just pulls out manually. If you have a mortorized one you may have to clear the error code first? Do you see a small wrench on the display pannel? If so you may have a Minolita copier, if that is the case, touch the wrench and open and close the front door and then press the blinking button on the tray. Mostly, you have the wrong paper in the tray and it lifted up and shifted in the tray and it is now confused. You may need a service tech....

DVD stuck

Replace the drivebay of the Bose AV3-2-1 If the drive sticks, or does not open, or If you receive an error of NO DISK, or any indicator that the disk is not properly recognized clean the lens and if still doesn?t work then the DVD drive is bad. You can actually use one for a desktop PC with a few part swappings. Check that the drive is a Toshiba SD-M1612 it is printed at the bottom of the drive bay. To use this SD-M1612 as a replacement you will simply have to swap three external parts. Remove the 3 parts from the bad Bose drive bay: Remove the 4 bottom bolts, lift cover, if the DVD bay door is locked then insert a paperclip into small hole in the front. Slide DVD tray out and remove the PC style DVD ROM tray facing. 2 clips hold it on pry them out and slide the facing up and off. Now remove the face of the drive bay. It has several clips. Save these three components (top cover, face, and tray facing) to add to the new Toshiba SD-M1612 DVD bay. Remove the old and installation is the reversed procedure above. also remove the small clear LED bezel from the new drive before adding the face. It works fantastic.
