The Airhog is a little helicopter and its not propeller stabilizer broke almost immediatedly. it's a kind of ultra-flexible black plastic. Any idea what type of glue to use on this stuff?

The rear stabilzier broke Christmas morning. Would hot glue, super glue, expoxy, model cement or even tape work? Hot glue and tape shouldn't hurt too much if they don't work, but I'm afraid they might weigh too much? Shouldn't the manufacturer have some allowances for repairing this? These are the two that fight each other, but the kids never got to do that since they had batteries only for one. Help!

The Stabiliser for my Air Hogs Helix Micro helicopter has broken off... It will not fly as a result. I cannot find replacement stabilisers ANYWHERE on the internet - Not even from the manufacturers... Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it please?

    Thanks very much,

    1. i broke the bottom stabalizer does any one know how to take the actual stabalizer apart. It looks like you have to take out the metal pins.

I broke the bottom stabilizer when it hit a wall. I cut the other end of the stabilizer off but the helicopter does not respond well to the controls witout the stabilizer. The up/down and left /right controls work but the forward/ reverse controls have little effect. I would like to get my hands on a new stabilizer.

I fixed this problem and the result is stronger than the original. Since the tail shaft is hollow, I cut off the head of a pin and stuck the pin in one side and then glued the other side to it. The pin provides the support and surface that the glue needs.

We broke the stabilizer of our air hog havoc heli. Where can we get replacement part?

I replaced a broken stabilizer successfully with a regular paper staple (like the kind in a red Swingline stapler). It's the right length! I punched the staple through the stapler to bend the ends, rounded them a bit with needle-nose pliers to fit over the stabilizer pegs, then used the pliers to tighten the loops. (I got a couple of Air Hogs recently at a garage sale, but one was missing a stabilizer. Excited that it works now!)

My rc heli wont go up

Are you missing any parts? make sure its charged, i know if you are missing a stabilizer it wont go up the stabilizer is what holds the two propellers together and when the helicopter takes a hard impact it usually comes off so check for that hoped this helped

The little flight stabelizer thingy above the propeller on my helix 360 is not working properly. i can hold it in my fingers and while the propellers are spinning i can see the stabelizer is tipping...

Check for damage to any of the linkage. You may also remove the tiny pin on the stabilizer and take it off. use a nail file or dremel tool to round the edges... giving it a more aerodynamic shape, and you a chance to make it balanced. After you do this, wrap each tip with a small piece of clear tape. This mod is good for any of the "square" AirHog balance bars.... it gives you more response and faster movement in all directions. ~VLAD~

Does anyone know where to buy a new main prop blade for the airhog helix 360 r/c helicopter?

Look for places that distribute "Air Hog" Products in your area. They should be able to help you.

Heli will not climb above ground effect, battery tests ok, axles in balance no vibration, just will not climb

I also have this kind of problem with my apache. The upper propeller must spin faster thatn the lower propeller if not the heli would just spin on its tail although maximum power is achieved. The solution is to check the connection of the gears and the axle of the upper propeller which is located at the bottom of the helicopter. remove first the battery pack to see clearly the connection. try to turn the upper propeller a few turns and see if the axle, gear and the metal connector is sliding. A fixed my heli buy putting a permanent glue on the axle, connector to the gear and whalla. it does not slide. Most problems of this model is the gear of the upper propeller, often times loosened specially during crushes. This will a lot help you as your heli would have power on the upper propeller for lift off. Happy flying.
