Turn off TV, unplug it from AC socket, plug PS3 in HDMI input, turn On PS3 and then turn On TV so TV will recognize PS3 through HDMI
You can ask further question if above said didn't help you out instead of rating "not helpful"
Do you see any error message on TV screen and do you tried plugging any other video source in HDMI input of TV?
