My tower keeps blowing PSU's it originally blew a 450W so I put a 650W in it and it blew 2 of those in quick succession the MOBO is a M2N-E-SLI I recently updated the bios as I tried to put a new 7750 black edition cpu in it, it would not recognise it though so I went with a AMD 6000+ X2 I did this upgrade at the same time as fitting the new PSU I have taken it to my local PC proffessional and he is at a loss to find the problem as the all the parts check out fine but it keeps blowing power units It has a single Nvidia 8800GT G

I recently updated my bios on my Asus M2N-SLI motherboard in order to accomadate a new AMD 7750 Black Edition Processor.. The bios update went smoothly and everything seems fine except for the fact that both my USB mouse and Keyboard freeze when I try to use them. I have another ps2 keyboard which works perfectly although I don't have a ps2 mouse to test with.
Both the USB keyboard and mouse work fine in safe mode which leads me to believe that I have some sort of driver issue with the USB ports? I have formatted windows and tried various versions which I made in nlite including a revision with no service packs and one with SP3.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this or how I could fix it?

Your post on ASUS 1 -Long 2 Short Beeps solved my problem - and now the PC is back up and running for christmas - thanks so much (post from Ireland Europe) - I reseated the Video card and now no problems Your 12 Dec 2008 post extract below: The two most common causes for 1 long, 2 short beeps are video and RAM problems. From your post, I'm assuming there is no display on the screen. (with your computer off) try re-seating your memory (take it out of the slot and re-place it) and reseat your video card as well.
