Question about Acer 17" AL1706B LCD Monitor
I have a fairly new (about a year and a half) Acer AL1706 monitor that is not receiving the signal from the computer. It powers on, but comes up with the message, "No Signal" and goes black. Sometimes restarting the computer helps, but this problem keeps coming up.
Can you test your monitor on another computer to verify the monitor is at fault? If the monitor is at fault its time for a new one, factory warranties on monitors are usually 1 year unless you purchased an extended warranty.Otherwise repair is usually more costly than buying a new one.
