Sony dsc t-70 no display on screen when camera is turned on screen remains blank, camera still makes noise when taking photos, when you touch the screen it makes noises like its working but the screen...

Possible failure of the display unit , the fault seems serious and there is no solution from the outside. It needs attention inside the camerawhich will need experience. I would suggest that the camera is delicate and must be looked into at the sony service centre to check for an estimate before you decide. If the cost seems too much you may ask for the part required and search, maybe try for a salvaged part. Decide accordingly. Good day

Hi, I have a camera, a Sanyo VPC-T1060 and it's having some problems. It turns on, flashes, takes photos apparently, but the LCD screen won't work. It turns white when I turn it on and when I take a photo...

Try to remove the memory card if used, and blowing out the connectors in the camera cavity with compressed air (to remove dust if any).

Make sure the contacts are clean. If necessary try another memory card.

I'm not sure about the lcd screen, except it may require service from

I can't transfer my photos. Transfer doesn't come

Make sure camera is off. After you plug your camera into your computer turn camera on. This should open the program for you. If not, right click on START button, go to EXPLORE, find your camera in the list. right click on camera, go to OPEN WITH. Select the program you want to use and VIOLA, you're in.

Hope this info was helpful to you. Good Luck!

Olympus Fe-4000 screen is completely black no image available

Stephan is exactly right. I have a FE-4000 and the LCD screen is most likely dead. As Stephan said, the screen should be replaced by a professional.

Cheers to all

Black screen will not take photo

May sound silly but, make sure the lens cap is off. If so, then look to see if the automatic iris is opening when you power on the camera, you will know it is open when you can see the glass of the lens. Fresh/fully charged battery/batteries would be something else to try.

DSC W80 Black Display and Black Photos

I had the same problem - not entirely sure about the causality but it seemed to work again after I took the memory card out and put it back in. Worth a try I guess.

Black screen on LCD and in the eyepiece

Your camera is a reflex camera, it means what the lens you see If the displays are black it means that there's a block inside the lens, probably the inner mirrors are stuck. Try resetting the camera. Save the photos on the memory disk, disconnect whatever can be disconnect, get out the batteries, and let the camera rest for a day or two If the problem haven?t been solved and you don?t have the knowledge how to open the camera take it to fix, hope the insurance is still good. Good luck

Pentax Optio 330GS its gone blind!

You've probably got something as simple as a ribbon cable loose in the camera. Beware though, dismantling is a serious task unless you have experience. Amazingly the CCD is often connected in such a simple, analog-esqe, way that disconnecting it doesn't cause an error, just a black screen.
