Can't find settings for black and white photos. The information in the manual doesn't help as I have tried and there is no option for changing to black and white in the the 'shooting mode' menu OR in the retouch. Anyone got any other ideas???
You need to go into the REC mode (the one above menu when taking a photo). Change this to PGM and click OK. Now go into MENU, on the 3/4 page second button down should be a box with a + in the corner. This is the colour mode option. You can now change to vivid, sepia or black and white.

I have a glass discoloration on my Cyber-Shot Sony camera's LCD screen. It looks like some residue, but it could not be wiped off. Also these spots have kind of a mirrow effect. To me it looks like the screen protective leyer is gone (screen has metallic blueish color and these spots are like a mirrow - I could see my reflection). This defect is very distractive because I cann't the pictures clearly. Please let me know if the glass can be changed. Thanks,

When clicking the flash button on the right on the screen, I am given NO OPTIONS. Flash off is the only option. I did see in the manual that you have to turn off the scene selection option. When I click MENU on the bottom left, I have no button like in the manual for scene selection! My pics are turning out crummy because I need some flash but can't turn it on manually!
