Question about Dell Latitude C610 Notebook
computer wont load up all the way--gives the screen that lets you choose safe mode, safe mode +networking ,or last known correct configuration--after running a self test it says that the left battery AC adapter power problem error #36000649?
You could also boot up into safe mode and see if it hangs loading a certain driver.

The error in the self test is probably just a warning that your battery is near the end of its life and is NOT related to your startup problem.
The startup problem is likely a failing hard drive. If there is data on your computer you want to save, STOP testing it and take it to someone that can do hard drive recovery.
you could also buy a USB hard drive enclosure (about $20-$30 at most stores.) if you have another computer to plug the drive into.
