Your best bet is to go to a good stereo store that can get you a wiring harness adapter that will plug into your car and be color coded to wire up to your aftermarket radio.

It will save you a lot of time and trouble.

When i turn the head unit up to about 10 it sounds good but then it gets all distorted like my speakers are blown but when i pou the stock deck in the system freaken rocks whats the deal with that

it sound like a wire problem you brobably would not hear the distortion with the stock deck because the more power the less distortion there is.

Wiring diagram

My fault meant this as a solution post....

What do you need the diagram for? If your installing the radio, you do not need a diagram you need to go purchase the wiring harness for your make and model and year car. Match the colored wires together to the ones on the back of the head unit then connect them, then that harness plugs into your stock car harness that your stock radio unplugged from. You also probly need an antenna adapter cable that just connects to your stock antenna cable to add length and then plugs into your aftermarket radio. If you need a wiring diagram because you are trying to open you radio and fix it because it is broke or something...good luck to ya. Hope I helped... :)

After i installed an after market deck on my 2001 chevy suburban my dash lights went out what can be the problem

I would put things back to stock and see if they now work. If they dont you may of shorted out a solder joint and ruined the cluster which would have to be replaced as a whole. If after you get it bact to stock and everything works I would be hooking up to a different power source. Also its always a good Idea to run an extra ground wire from engine to body when you add a more steroo system or accessories. This prevents electrolisis in the radiator which could eat thru the heater core or radiator.

There are retro- fit adapter plates and housings that will match your new radio head with the original opening. Either go on line or go to your local electronics store that sells auto audio equipment and ask for such an adapter for your vehicle.

Extending the Antenna wire to reach new deck

If it is a Chevy then the antenna wire will not fit in the first place. best buy sells an adapter that ill extend that wire and make it the right size. The wire is like 7 to 10 dollars.

Audio Output problems

Currently you have the blue wire from your Kenwood head unit connected to the blue wire in the Chrysler wire harness adapter. You need to disconnect this wire, and reconnect it to the blue/white wire coming from your Kenwood head unit instead. You probably already have the remote wire from your subwoofer amp connected there; both wires need to be attached to the blue/white Kenwood remote output. Your LHS is equipped with a factory amp. The blue wire in the Chrysler harness activates the amplifier, but it's connected to your Kenwood's power antenna activation output; therefore it's only being turned on when the tuner is selected.
