PSC3310 clock goes crazy

My PSC3310 clock looses time completely when I switch it off and back on again after some time. Does it have some sort of backup battery? If I leave the unit on for several days, the time begins to shift, just like a cheap clock does, but pressing the power button off in the night and on in the morning causes a random and normally huge shift. Anyone experienced this?
