Sounds like a "power savings" feature.

If you are sure this issue is not a power saving feature, it means the inverter in the display is broken. The inverter is used to generate high voltage and lit the screen.

Mecer LV26 LCD monitor won't switch on

This is an indication of protection error and might require attention of a qualified service technician. Before that, look for any loose contacts in RC jack, cables, power outlet etc. Try changing the input device to some other that works.

My monitor won't stay on

WOW another all in one problem. Looks like you are just about ready to be without a computer for a while. If you at least had things separate instead of being an all in one you could just plug another monitor and keep on rolling.

It sounds like either the LCD Inverter or the LCD Screen has issues.

The monitor will not turn on. When power button

First--was it working?
Did it suddenly stop?
When you see the LG logo, then it goes away, does the power light turn from green to amber? Sounds like that doesn't happen.
So--if you are getting a signal, you should see something.
If there is no signal, then the power light should change from green to orange.
With no lights at all, I suspect a faulty monitor.

Viewsonic VG700b bug

The light turning to orange means the monitor is not getting a signal from the computer. Check your monitor cable at both ends and make sure it is in very tight and secure at the computer end as well. Also check to see if the computer stays on when the light goes to orange on the monitor. The power cord for the computer might be loose.

Ds lite green light is on but both screens are black and no sound

For GBA games the green light is meant to stay on. The orange light will stay on as long as its recharging. It will turn off when its fully recharged or when you unplug it
