Question about Motorola Mobility E815
Boot up phone may or may not find network. Later it will find network for awhile but randomly losses network. Power off and reboot does not necessarily result in getting the network back. Have pulled battery and then re-installed battery and booted up but same result.
I have had the same problems. 6 weeks ago, the Verizon store was able to correct this for me, but it began happening again 2 weeks ago. I had them show me how they sort of fixed it, and they performed what the rep said was a "Soft Reset". This worked for a week. This last week, such steps allowed my phone to get full service bars, but only for one-three calls or text messages. This results in me resetting the phone frequently. Today, even that has failed. It may just be time to get a new phone. Anyway, if you want to try the temporary fix with your phone, here is how:
Settings>Initial Setup>Master Reset>Enter Security Code (default is 000000)>[Reset All Phone Settings]OK>Yes

Signal transmitter is failing, not much to do when this starts to happen, no so long after it will stay with very low signal or non what so ever. and to have this micro resistors replaced might cost more than the phone actual value.

Would you mind sharing what you think is causing this problem? Thank you.

This is a somewhat rare problem with this phone and I don't believe you are going to get it fixed at a decent cost. I have seen it before.
