If the water is only accumulating only when it is raining, then the answer would be yes, it is most likely leaking in from outside. You can purchase patching cement in a tube that can be applied with a caulking gun at most hardware retailers. I would patch the hole to the outside and see if the problem of a wet bathroom floor is fixed. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Front passenger floor wet from rain, where is leak at?

Do you have a sunroof or moonroof? If so the problem is going to be in the drain for that sunroof or moonroof. If you open the roof, on either front corner you will see a small circular hole. Take some compressed air and blow it through each of those holes. You may see debris come out of the bottom near the back of your wheel well. Take cup of water and slowly pour that near those holes and make sure it goes through. Usually when that drain is clogged the water from a rain storm will flood into the passenger cabin.

There is loose wall mount tub filler. How can I tight it?

Most tub spout are pretty covers for the generic ugly pipes that deliver the water from the wall water plumbing into the tub area. Speaking for this water pipe it's either going to be copper or galvanized iron pipe. The pipe that you see sticking out of the wall is rather short. It ends just inside the wall usually at a 90 degree elbow which in turn is connected to a pipe and other things inside the wall cavity. If this short pipe stub is loose so you can move it in and out of the wall hole some, the reason is that the plumbing pipes inside the wall are not tied down to the wall studs properly.
If the backside of the wall can be opened by cutting out a section of sheetrock in the same location as where the spout pipe is located, you can expose the inside wall plumbing and tie in the wall pipes securely to the wall framing. Afterwards, you need to seal up the sheetrock hole you created.
In some cases this is not possible. When that is the case, your fix is spotty at best. You can use a caulking that becomes rock hard when cured around the pipe nipple as it comes through the wall hole. Hopefully the hard caulking will provide enough tightness tying the pipe to the wall material to help stop the movement. Install the caulking so it is underneath the pretty tub spout when you reinstall it over the generic pipe. Make sure you do not have this caulking involved with the pretty spout so if you need to remove it again, it won't be locked in by the hardening caulk.

When do you need to vent a bathroom sink?

You always need to vent a sink. If you do not vent the sink it will create a vacume and **** water, or air from the nearest fixture.. example, if you connect to the sewer line near a bath tub, when you run the sink water it will **** air from the bath tub drain. If it sucks a lot of air, you will smell the sewer odor since the water is no longer blocking it.
If you cannot run the vent to the roof, there is an in wall vent valve called a studor vent that may work. Get with someone at Lowes or Home depot to show you one.

My jacuzzi bathtub plastics pipes underneath are leaking due to being chewed by rats. So if i fill up the tub to the jacuzzi line holes, water leakes through the chewed pipes on to the wood floor...

no there is no solutions for plugging off the jets so the water doesn't go in them. you will have to pull the tub and repair the lines. no access panel just means you have to dig in!

I have a large whirlpool tub in MB on 1st floor. When letting water out of tub it is coming up in a large walk-in shower. The shower is draining fine...need answer! thanks

sounds like there may be some blockage in pipes. try to run a long snake through both drains or run all fixtures in bathroom and try plunging vigorously in tub and shower while running water. if nothing still, it may be possible that your underground plumbing is back graded or incorrect fittings and plumbing installation.

Water Leak

I have a 2000 that did the same thing. There is a small pipe that comes through the firewall to drain water from the air conditioner coil inside. The water comes out of that pipe and wicks back into the inside. They make a little extender to put on that pipe to take the water away. I fixed it by attaching a small hose to the pipe and putting a little goop around it where it comes through the fire wall.
