just fitted a new door interlock on my hotpoint but the close door msg keeps appearing. Any ideas?

Could be a weak door spring, or worn or cracked catch, meaning that it is not latching in properly, try activating the door lock with a screwdriver or similar if you can, if still no joy, then could be a board or cumminication prob between boards
