MY PLASMA LG TV RT42PX10 HAS A BLACK BAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN .IT SPLIT THE PICTURE IN TWO PART.

PLEASE HELP ME . WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND HOW TO FIX IT.

Sounds like one of your y-drives are bad. It could be a loose connection between the y-drive and the PDP module(PLASMA panel) but most likely you need to replace one of your y-drive boards. They are what put the horizontal picture on your TV.
