My new lg 3d tv is closng on top bottom and sides is there anything i can do to cure the problem

Could you provide more information? What do you mean when you say, "closing?" Do you mean there is a black band around the picture? If so that means the original picture is recorded at a lower pixel density than your TV will display.
In the past most TV program signals provided a picture dimensions (in computer standards) very roughly 600 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall. What this means is that a picture of that pixel size will display as a small, squarish image slightly wider than it is tall on a (now) standard 1080p LCD television--which produces an image 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high.
That would be nearly unwatchable (picture too small) except for the fact that most TVs compensate for the relatively small size of "standard definition TV (SD TV, as opposed to HDTV) by enlarging the image so that the top and bottom edges of the picture touch the top and bottom of the TV screen. This will leave black bands on either side of the picture. Some LCD TVs will automatically stretch BOTH dimensions of the image, which yields a distorted, "sqaushed" image.
All my comments above apply to both standard LCD and 3D-LCD TVs, by the way.

Hitachi ultra vision tv stuck on on moment please screen

Another malady common to plasma TVs are stuck pixels. This is where a red, green or blue pixel will fail to reset and remains conspicuously on the screen in the midst of the new images being displayed. There is a useful third-party program called JScreen Fix. This utility stimulates the pixels in the television through an intensive and prolonged burst of colored static. Many times this is enough to remove the stuck pixel. To utilize this program, you will need to run it off of a laptop that is hooked up to your plasma television. To download JScreen Fix,

Westinghouse LTV32W6HD 32 in This television powers on but has red around the images on the screen. As it stays on it clears up some but there is still a visible red to the screen.

Based on the symptoms you are describing it seems like your T-Con board is going bad. This board is located on top of the panel and its main function is to make the pixels properly display on the screen. When this board goes out you can experience a few things and normally red or blue spots in the dark areas is one of them.

Pixeled picture, Red color, blurry and smeared images

Ghost image and snowy colorful pixelation with vertical black bars? You can try a hard reset by unplugging the unit completely for 4 hours. However you may have a prob with the YSUS and the YBU-L (YBuffer Upper-Lower.) Perhaps even the Logic Main may be defective. If you are still under warranty take it to a service center ASAP. If not Get out your Voltometer. You can email me for some help...

Coloured Pixels in or around black areas when watching TV

This is know as a diffusion issue. Most times this can be corrected with some minor alignment on the pots on the YSUS pwb. Sometimes the YSUS pwb has failed and will need to be replaced.
