Question about Asko T701 Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Asko dryer filter assembly

The filter assembly has two strips, one on each side. One is coming off and I need to attach it or replace it. Is there replacements? Or should I just try to glue it back? Is the type of glue important due to temperature problems?

Removing the Idler Pulley Assembly

Whirlpool manufactured brands including Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Glenwood, and Caloric. All of these front loader conventional electric dryers are very similar. The idler pulley attaches by a snap in spring assembly.

Replacing Drum paddle lifter for Asko washing machine?

BIG JOB !! The machine will have to be fully stripped down as the only access to the paddle is by removal of the spin bowl itself from the machine. The paddles usually are held on at the front and along the sides by moulded clips that slide into the tub and are secured at 1 end by a set screw. If I remember correctly, the entire bowl assembly is removed through the front of the machine. The top and front have to be taken off to do this. Its a huge job, it may pay to obtain the services of someone who has done this before.

I believe asko says this is normal at start up and should stop after the drum has been spinning for a bit.

I need a power plug for my asko 7305 dryer and can not find one anywhere

Assuming that you need a 220V connector, they can be purchased at home Depot. They are generally made with about three feet of cable attached. you will have to take the back plate off of the dryer and attach the three leads to the proper termination.

F2 error message after dishwasher backed up when draining. Asko brand.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2 in your Asko Dishwasher means high water level. This error occurs due to plugged/bad water pump and/or a bad inlet valve. If the water pump and/or water inlet valve are bad it should be replaced to resolve this issue. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

My ASKO T702C dryer just stopped working. It starts but after 5 mins it just turns off. Any suggestions?

Try opening the bottom vent panel and pulling out the filter box (there are directions and handles)... hold the filter under running hot water for a while and you should see all this nasty stuff come out. Worked for me!

My Asko dryer shut off and my clothes are still wet. It won't start and the light on the pannel will not come on. I know I probably have lint in the system that escaped the lint trap or maybe something...

YOUR DRYER Has a fuse in it look for it probably somewhere close to where the main power comes in at. if it's good check the heat relay contactor assembly. www.repairclinic.com has the model you have and it may even be as simple as the door switch

Asko Dryer model T-701

you need to replace the motor you can replace the rear half of the motor but you can only buy a complete motor.this isnt a common problem but i have had it before.it broke because you need to grease the pin every 5 years or so.
