Can't download photos to my new Vuescape 1.4 " digital picture frame

I followed the instructions, however, the desktop icon reads "No Photo viewer is found, program is termined! (yes temined not terminated..go figure). The instructions also say to run software entitled "Photoviewer.exe" I'm wondering if that may be another CD disc, that was not included in the packaging, as I only have the driver & utility Cd disc. Please advise if you can help me get this device to work properly. Thanks

OK, I had the same problem. It turned out to be a permissions problem on my end. I installed it, connected and selected USB Download... same error as all of you. It turns out that I had to install it as administraitor and then run it as administraitor in order to get the program to work. If you don't have administrative rights on your computer ( are you running it on your work machine? ) it might now work for you. Hope that helps.

When you plug the frame to the computer, the frame will prompt two choices. The choices will be either “USB power” and “USB Connect”, or “USB Power” and “USB download”.

A. If you have the one that says “USB connect”, select it and press either the power button or the mode button. Which one depends on the version. On one, power will work, but mode will do nothing, on the other, mode will work but power will do nothing. So try either and you should be fine.

B. The one that says “USB download" you will choose that option and then press either the mode or the power button, as explained above.

If this process if followed, the pictures that are saved to on board memory will be displaying on the frame. You should then be able to open the viewer program.

I hope this helps. But if you need to reach their customer service, the number is 800-639-3803 or

Once I followed the steps above, I was still was unable to load pictures. I found that I had to move my pictures from my jump drive to the Program Files. folder (I then moved them back as soon as I finished). Once I selected the pictures I was able to sync and it worked fine.

How to use P navi Car Nav System. Instruction booklet hard to follow!

If your problem is, say, downloading music (mp3) text (txt) or photos (jpeg) then all you need do is drag the files to the ResidentFlash part of the device (not into the Primo folder). The device will find them for you to listen, read or watch. If you find that you have used the Reset facility (I would not recommend it) and you have lost access to the maps, click on the NavPath icon, click on the lower box to reveal the ResidentFlash icon, click on Primo then the .exe file (Igo.exe in my case).

Step 1: Determine the make and model of your 9" digital photo frame.
Step 2: Post your question in the "Digital Camera Accessories" or "Photography Accessories" section of FixYa instead of the "GPS Devices" section. When you do, please make sure to include the information from Step 1.

I copied some 5 megapixel pictures from my phone to my garmin, but they won't display fullscreen on the garmin and they're cut off in the thumbnail viewer. Is there a definite size limit for pictures on...

Look at the instructions for your Nuvi to find the screen resolution (possibly VGA) and then use a program like IrfanView (free) to resize the photos to something like the same. 5MP is far too large a file for your Garmin to even to attempt to display.

How do i load pictures onto my GPS

load the pictures you wish to see onto a SD card and put it in the side of the gps. The garmin will display .jpg formatted pictures. make sure the photos are not too large.

On the start up screen, choose the tools icon and then picture viewer. it will give you the option to see single pictues or start a slide show.

Nextar GPS will not get past loading stage

Nextar will not assist in helping "fix" anything. Their solution is for you to send in the unit and they pitch it, send you one off the assembly line. I was able to get this unit working again in just GPS mode (what it was intended for), so using this workaround, you will lose the ability to use it as a tiny digital photo frame, MP3 player, etc.
I take no responsibility if you try this and "brick" your unit (render it unusable except as a $100 paper weight). BACK UP!!

1) Download and install ActiveSync from the Micro$oft website.

2) Connect the M3-04 unit to your computer

3) Turn it on

4) Red bar should fill and the M3-04 will "hang" in that screen, BUT viola it still connects to ActiveSync

5) Using Explorer from ActiveSync, navigate to ResidentFlash

6) Copy autorun.inf to your PC Desktop, make backup by renaming it to autorun.bak

7) Open autorun.bak with Notepad

8) Change the line to read without the quotes: "\ResidentFlash\Netropa Intellinav\IntelliNav.exe"

9) Save As to your desktop autorun.inf

10) Copy back to your ResidentFlash directory on the M3-04

11) Disconnect from PC and hit the reset button on back....BOOYA! Your GPS is functioning again.

SD card can not be accessed on Sanyo NVM-4370

Did you hear a beep when SD card is inserted? Did you also try to hard reset the unit using the On/Off switch located at the bottom of the unit? Try with another SD card and see if the SD option is selectabe. If all have tried I suggest you to exchange for another unit. HTH.

Tom tom 710

I am STILL trying to download the latest Wester Europe Maps to my Go 700. But I have found this answer to your question. Any tips on how I down load the v7.20 to my TomTom? good luck.

When navigating to a location in the UK or The Netherlands you should be able to enter full digit postcodes.
If you are only able to enter 4 digits, follow the instructions below.

  1. Download the file below and save it to your computer.

    downloadbutton.gif (10.5 MB)

  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded file to your desktop (on PC right-click the downloaded file and select Extract to).

You will now have a folder called 'zip' on your desktop.

  3. Connect your TomTom device to your computer.

  4. If you are using a PC click Start > My Computer and double-click the icon for your TomTom device.

If you are using a Mac click the icon for your TomTom device on your desktop.

  5. Copy the complete 'zip' folder to your TomTom device.

Note: The 'zip' folder should be copied to the 'root' of your TomTom device. This means not inside one of the folders.
