Memory card won't format on Kodak Easy Share camera

I am having the same issue. I put two different memory cards in and new batteries and all. Still says formatting memory card when I press okay it says need to format memory card again. It won't read it. Says memory card full. So, I can't get the pictures off of the card and I can't take more pictures. I am going to Maine tomorrow and this sucks big donkey d*&(!!! I suppose I am going to have to go to a store and ask someone to format the cards for me. Hopefully they don't charge for that.
