have dual boot system,W98SE/XP. Resised both partitions with Easeus to make room for Windows 7 RC. XP is fine but 98 won't boot up. Black screen/white cursor top left. Use 98 a lot for my work.

- Have not tried to load windows 7 yet. Both w98se and XP are on separate partitions. W98SE is fat32 and XP is NTFS. Have had this dual configuration for about three years with no major problems.

Windows 7 cannot be installed on FAT 32 system, which is required by 98. Windows 7 needs NTFS which may actually cause the issue as it is not compatible with FAT32.

Are all of the O/s are in different partitions?
