You may have a broken wire in the leads or the foot control needs to be repalced (which sounds the most likely problem). Also it may pay to check the brushes in the motor. I would strongly suggest you do not let the machine sit like that, it could burn out the motor or even start a fire. A word of advice for all people with electronic sewing machines if industrial or domestic, YOU MUST have a surge protector & not just plug the machine into the wall socket. These are computers remember.

Where can I find a stepper motor for a Pfaff 1475cd sewing machine? They don't make them any more.

If the original stepper motor for your Pfaff 1475cd sewing machine is no longer available, there are a few options you can consider:
  1. Check with sewing machine repair shops in your area. They may have access to refurbished or used stepper motors that can be used as a replacement.
  2. Look for replacement parts online. Some websites specialize in selling replacement parts for sewing machines, including stepper motors. You may be able to find a compatible replacement part online.
  3. Consider retrofitting your machine with a new motor. This may require some modification to the machine and electrical components, but it could be a viable option if you're unable to find a direct replacement.
  4. Contact Pfaff or the manufacturer of the original motor to see if they have any suggestions or alternative options.
It's important to note that not all stepper motors are compatible with all sewing machines, so it's important to do your research and find a replacement part that is specifically designed to work with your Pfaff 1475cd.

Spool thread jammed up in the bobbin area. took tweezers and got what thread I could out. I still think there's a thread that's keeping it for working. How do I get to it on a Pfaff creative 1475cd.

Hello Roz

If there is some thread caught in the bobbing case area, the best solution is to remove the bobbin case and disassemble the bobbin case area. This is shown on page 16 of the manual. If you need a manual it is available free on line at this link http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/creative-1475CD-manual-1-EN.PDF

Please do give me a thumbs us if this is helpful, otherwise please send me a message with the challenge.

Bring it to a Pfaff certified service center. Might be a circuit board or transformer. Nothing you can fix yourself.

Are pfaff 1475cd sewing feet compatible with pfaff 1151 machine

Hi. Some Pfaff machines have something called an "IDT" which looks rather like a small, black walking foot behind the pressure foot, to help feed the fabric evenly. Pfaff machines with this IDT need "IDT" pressure feet. (I can't find a listing of which machines have this and which don't, so you'll have to look at your machines or check your manuals.) If both machines have the IDT, then the feet are compatible. If neither has the IDT, then the feet are also compatible.

Hope this helps!

Happy Sewing,

Pfaff 1475 Needs to ''warm up?''

I had the same problem with my Pfaff 1475CD. If I waited about an hour or so it would come on. I have read here and elsewhere that you should replace the (5) 22 microfarad 16V capacitors on the circuit board. I ordered capacitors from Amazon and did this since I have a little bit of soldering skill. It worked! Machine now turns on normally. Note: you must pay attention to the polarity of the capacitors when replacing them.
