disconect the power cable from the printer >> press and hold the power button for 20 seconds >>restart the printer >>follow the steps in the page- http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bpa00299&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=57769
>> the try with a new cartridge and if it works the cartridge has the problem
