Can't get rid of the Video Labels... ~

In the menu, it allows me to program the names for Video 1-4, but there is no way to turn them off. They are rather annoying being displayed all the time, and get in the way of my view while playing certain games. Anyone know how to disable these?

We have a Sony TV also and I just hooked up TiVo but cannot get rid of the Video Labels. There are multiple options in the Set Up menu to use for labels but I cannot seem to find a way to leave it blank.

We put the tv on channel 3 then ran coax cable from the direct tv box to the tv and the display disappeared. The s-video cable was run from video 1 on the cable box to the video 1 on the tv. So he left the s-video there but by putting the tv on channel 3 and running the coax it fixed the problem.

How do i print labels with my printer

First you need a word processing program like MS Word, WordPerfect, OpenOffice, etc.
They all have functions (usually under the menu item like "tools") that will allow you to print labels.
They should also ask you to set up your labels and will ask you what manufacturer (like Avery) the labels are and what number they are.
Each of these programs has a "help" function where you can ask specifically how to perform the task.

Video Labels

Try the display button on the remote control. Also pressing the menu button to turn the menu on and off again should extinguish the status display if the display function from the remote is not active. Some models of sets have an exit button on the remote.

It is possible to have a fault in the uPC area or in the circuit area where the font generator is located that can cause the status display to not turn off.
