You have bad "chips" this is a common problem with these sets. The convergence chips--and possibly a couple of resistors,need replaced, and the chips need to be UPGRADED to higher capacity units.Should be about a 250-350 repair, and that is fair.Much more--say if someone says 500+..is a RIP off.

FIX this set, and it will be MUCH more reliable than the flat panel sets out now.
