I used to have the palm pilot but never really liked using it... but I always loved the desktop version that was used to synchronize the info. It was so simple to use as an address book. I still have the installation CD and I still use it on my Windows Vista believe it or not. Is there a way that I can update the software to the newest version without buying the actual hand held palm pilot? The installation CD color is green and it says 1999-2000 Handspring, Inc - part no. 50-0115-00. I don't mind paying for the software if I have to. Thank you for your help! Terri

The hard keys of my Handspring Deluxe (8mb, black, Palm OS 3.1) started to fail some time ago, at the beginning it happened sometimes the datebook button didnīt work, now is not only datebook button but up and down button too.
up and down hardkeys are very important. Iīve searched hard for an application to reassign hardkeys but the closer ones to my problem remap only a damaged power button not the other hard keys, other apps deal with remapping soft keys to launch applications, not the functions of the up and down hard keys.
Please, if someone knows a program to reassign those hard keys up and down functions to other soft keys even a stylus solution, or a DIY repair (because I donīt want to send it to Palm) please let me know, thank you
