3. Troubleshooting section in the manual says to go to the web site.
4. Web site says to download the manual and follow instructions.
5. Repeat over and over again until you've lost your mind.

MY RAZOR PHONE WILL NOT CONNECT TO MY JABRA

  • mikeh23 Dec 28, 2007

I am posting my own solution based on trial and error. Mine now works. I hope this helps you out.

    1. I have the Jabra 125. You can get the manual at www.jabra.com if you have a different one.
    2. Turn off your phone. Power off. The order of powering on devices is the key.
    3. Press and hold your Jabra power button until it's glowing blue (not flashing blue light--but constantly on)
    4. Then turn on your phone...and look for wireless devices in your phone menu.
    5. Make sure you have bluetooth turned on.
    6. the phone will find the Jabra, and then will ask to pair with it. passcode is 0000.
    7. That's it.

Again, the key is the order of turning on devices.

    Good luck.

New motorola v3m razr phone will not find any bluetooth devices

Is this a repair store, some stores have a tec that can reload the firmware and any new updates for the phone. The warranty is probably over and moto would charge you to repair the phone. See how far away that there is a Verizon that can reload the firmware.

Also, thanks to verizon for being thieves that you can not transfer
anything with bluetooth, so if you want bluetooth for your pc, or to transfer anything your out of luck. verizon has disabled
Obex in the firmware of the phone. You can bluetooth a headset, but thats all.
  1. Press Start.
  2. Scroll to and Select Bluetooth.
  3. Scroll to and Select Bluetooth Manager.
  4. Scroll to and Select Hands-free.
  5. Press Add to configure a new Hands-free device.
  6. Press Search to search for devices. Your phone will begin to search for the device (consult your device user guide for instructions on placing your device in pairing mode).
  7. Select the device.
  8. When prompted, press Yes to pair with the device.
  9. Enter the device passkey (normally 0000).
  10. Press Done. When your phone is paired, the Bluetooth indicator will be displayed on the home screen.

Just checking to see if this is the way you connect,or tried to connect.

How to connect the bluetooth??

I used this Motorola Bluetooth manual to connect my Motorola N136/HS 850 to my LG PM 325 phone. In the attached manual: Go to "using your headset" - "linking your headset and phone" and follow the instructions. You may need to revise the steps slightly to fit the functions of your phone. I followed steps 1 and 2, skipped step 3 and instead found the bluetooth icon on my phone, selected "add new", then selected "searching and pairing" and allowed the phone to search for and pair my bluetooth device. The Motorola Bluetooth device appeared on the screen of my phone within seconds as "Motorola HS850". I selected the device on the screen of my phone and followed step 5 entering the pin code "0000" and selected "connect" on my phone to begin using my bluetooth. I hope this helps someone. Pairing a Jabra 250 headset with my new motorazr2

Here is what you need to have configured on your phone for Bluetooth connections:

1. Create a link between your Motorola RAZR Phone and any Bluetooth Accessory 1.0 and up, you need to turn the Bluetooth connection "on". This is how: Go into your phone "settings". > Then select "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Set Up" > "Power" > "On". The connection will stay on until you turn it off. We recommend to turn it off when not in use to preserve battery life.

2. To connect your RAZR to another Bluetooth hands free kit or headset, go into "Settings" > "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Handsfree" > (Look for Device). You phone will scan for available devices located within the range of the RAZR, approx 30 feet away. If your cell phone is already connected to a Blue Tooth headset, you must disconnect from it to find other devices. Once you have identified your bluetooth device, highlight its name and click on the "select" button.
3. The Bluetooth device will ask permission to connect. Select "yes" and press the "select" button; after that you will be prompted to insert a PIN code to initiate a secure connection. The PIN code is usually provided by the Bluetooth device manufacturer (in the manual), not the RAZR (unless you are connecting to another phone). Once the connection is made, you should see the bluetooth logo displayed on the internal screen, while the external screen Bluetooth indicator will flash.
