Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
I've tried the suggestions on the HP web site with no luck. The power led come on, the DVD control leds come on, the DVD player green led comes on briefly, then all leds blink on/off quickly then back to steady on. No whirling sound from the hard drive though.
Check if the internal batery is ok that may be the problem or your motherboard but loock for the batery first

I not sure what your saying, Is it the laptop thats not working ? Or DVD drive ? If Its the Pc Try and get into you Bios, Are you able to see the Hp Logo when you first turn power on, Or is Absolutely nothing Happening, No screen at all. Try and make sure, may be someone set it down a little harder than normal and may have jarred the Memory Module loose, Or even the Hard Drive it self may have become loose try to remove the Hd screw and remove and reset firmly back into place, If not, Just a little more Information may help us out, Thanks and I hope this works for you. bear001 Oh yeah If you can see the Hp logo, when you see that repeatedly push the F2 key or the Delete Key until your bios opens and try and reset back to Default Settings,
