When I press the power button, the camera does not turn on. I get a momentary green light and then two beeps. I changed batteries, but get the same res;onse.
Looks like you got a shutter that is stuck this is common with caeras I would take it into a local shop and have the camera examined and a estimate drawn up to get this problem solved.

I think you have the same probel as me. The camera has been running on it's own in-built batery, and now the charge has run down. Inserting new batteries doesn't help because the menu option still shows that it is running off the built-in battery. Please let me know if you get the problem fixed.

Batterys go dead when not in use-I can take one picture-turn it off--go back in a few hours and the batteries are dead--I'm using rechargeable batterys . Doesnt matter if I use regular or rechargable ones. The only way I have found ot stop it is take the batterys out after each use-then put them back in each time. Thank you for any help. M Clark
