The box box is bad. Replace it. you can take it out and get the numbers off it, put it in ebay, or go to www.tigerdirect.com you can get cheep. if you get one and put it in, and still does not work then your mother board is bad as well, do same thing to find motherboard.

if the light goes green for a very short period before going red again it means theres a short on the circuit board. u can try and find the problem but because the circuitry is very small, it wont be easy to find. only other solution is to buy a new circuit board :(

Leapster 2 wont work

You need to calibrate the touch screen - hold down the ? button and a menu will come up, go to 'touch/calibrate'-red dots will appear on the screen in the corners then in the middle and you have to touch the centre of them with the pen to line up the screen again - turn off and again and it should be fine - hope this helps xx

Leapster wont turn after changing batteries

if there is corrosion from old batteries, you will need to neutralize the acid. take an old toothbrush and some baking soda with a little bit of water and brush the coil and convex area of the copper connector.
Leapster will also offer you a new one at 1/2 the price if you agree to ship back your old broken one.
You will need to get their phone number off the net.
