SOURCE: poor DVD image out quality.

In the settings for video type check what you have picked cause well if its mpeg1 it will be pretty poor and big where as you can prob set it to divx or xvid and select a higher compression rate, all really depends on the qaulity of the video you first captured before shoving it into ulead

you could try adobe premier elements, just a trial to see if it helps then you will know if its ulead.

or when captureing it from your cam check and make sure its set to mpeg2 (dvd format) capture means that there will be vvery little conversion to do to dvd.

anyway hope any of this helps.

I need to take what i recorded and put on my computer to burn on a

Since the camcorder records on Mini DVD+/-R and RW, and SD/MMC cards, just eject the media from the camcorder and insert it into the appropriate drive on your computer. Open the burning software of your choice (which you may or may not already own) and follow the directions for burning the files with that software. If the disks are DVD RW or SD/MMC delete the files after burning is complete. Even though the manual states that it will work with DVD-R, the camcorder seems to have issues finalizing these particular formats, so I recommend using DVD+R and DVD+RW. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote appropriately and leave a comment.

I am trying to copy the DVD I finalized in the Canan DC210 to ano

Simple way if you have two dvd trays in your computer: just pop in the mini-disk in one tray and load a DVD+r, or DVD-r recordable disk in the tray of the DVD burner. Use the burning software that is available on your computer to "copy the disk".Other way:Just popin your mini-dvd into your computer and drag and copy the file folder (video_ts folder)onto your hard drive. Now, use dvd burning software that supports DVD images. I use the free ImgBurn program from: (Remember, use "build mode" within ImgBurn to create the "DVD image" that the program will burn to disk.Disregard all the terminology if you don't understand it. ImgBurn is very simple to use. I mention "DVD image" because the conventional type of disk burning (copying documents, photos, etc. on disk) will just create a "data disk" with files on it. Video files burned in this way will play on computers but not on all stand alone DVD players.

How do you save a "project" on regular size dvd?

You need to have DVD burning software. There are many out there, each with their own pros and cons. I use MyDVD 10 Premier from Sonic. It's and easy program that lets you create movies with all the bells & whistles then burn your movie easily to DVD. No matter what software you choose, you need good DVD burning software to get what you want. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anymore help.
