This is a responce to the GUEST post.
You can put almost any size SD card in it. except for the sd-hc ones.. I have this same camera and I have two 2gb cards that I use in it.

Polaroid CAA 03040S Camcorder no sound during playback

The camcorder sound can be set to one of ten levels, with 0 being no sound at all.

Turn the camcorder on and let it boot up. Press the Mode button. Move the cursor to the bottom icon, the "hammer and screwdriver." Press the Menu button to select this icon. Now use the down arrow button to scroll down to "Volume." Now press the menu key to select this, and you can check/set your volume as you wish.

You can download the PDF manual for this and all other current Polaroid cameras at www.polaroid.com

Cant find pics

The simplest solution is to buy a cheap SD card reader and connect it to your computer. Then put the SD memory card from the camera in the reader. Windows XP will open a dialogue window asking you what you want to do with the pictures.

The caa-03040s has a relatively slow USB connection. Get a USB 2.0 card reader and connect it to a USB 2.0 port on the computer for much faster download speeds than the camera is capable of.

Polaroid CAA-03040 Digital Video Camera

If your camcorder came with a usb cable then plug it into the slot then select DISK mode on the camera, you will then see a removable disk in my computer.

If you are going to use the camera as a webcam then you should contact polaroid.
